Just sitting on my BA flight to Spain and noticed my boarding pass has the shortened form of my name eg Jess instead of Jessica and nobody picked it up Pheww

Sent home last night. I got sleep but Mrs AS didn't really. Back in the hospital this morning.

Place your bets for time of birth.

If being induced - 2pm. If not, midnight tonight.
But the best of luck to you both and no comfort for you today after yesterday's cruisey time. Hopefully for you it will seem like 30 hours in Jetstar Y which will be waaay more comfort than your partner!

Having grandchildren brings all the maths back. Was able to help my year 12 granddaughter a couple of years go.She was doing advanced maths.

MrP tried helping no 1 son with maths in year 6. By using some kind of weird logic he got the answer right but the process he got there was wrong. Somehow. MrP was told by teacher that perhaps it was best that he was no longer involved in maths homework.

Maybe that is the time when we started to focus on process and not outcomes and look where that's got us!

Did tax return on Saturday with accountant and return in my account last night. Fastest return ever.

But Pushka when I went to grandparents that year the maths teacher asked if I was the grandfather who still knew his maths.

Mr FM had an interesting afternoon on Tuesday. Went out to the Boeing Simulator centre in Brisbane with his brother-in-law. They are doing cutting edge stuff there with software simulators. One of the things that was talked about was the idea of pilotless planes! Probably never passenger planes (yay!), but maybe in the future a pilot sitting in Australia and "flying". a cargo plane to its destination. Bit like the driverless trucks the mines are using.

All the best.

I was flying BKK-HKG when my daughter was born and then flew HKG-SYD-BKK-CNX to see her 2 days later.

You fight through the tiredness and then wonder how you got through it. And it feels like yesterday but a whole year has passed. :)

I am going to be much older before I can say that about my grandchildren - I keep telling the young 'uns I aint getting any younger. At current rate (nothing yet) I'm gonna be into my '70's before they reach upper primary :(

So bu**er 'em, I am spending their inheritance instead. :p Serves 'em right!

How did you manage to keep your appetite?

Without entering into political debate I was not a fan when PM, said person was sitting in the row in front of us in July and she seemed a thoroughly delightful, polite, friendly and very unassuming person. Much nicer than some of the non bods who sit in row 1.

Pollies can be disarmingly polite. That's why they get votes. But are you sure that's the real J?. She wanted to portray the real J. Not sure if she was ultimately successful

Different redhead! This one wasn't out of place in a milkbar/cafe, she does look better in real life than she appears on tv.... Not that that comment is sexist at all!

Didn't recognise the person she was with.
