I didn’t realise that St Andrews golf course was a public course. Anyone can play there.

It depends which course you want to play. There are 6 links courses at St Andrews but if you want to play the Old Course you need a men's handicap of 24 max or 36 max for women.

Ah the people who told me about it are well within that with one also being the President of a significant golf club in SA.

How does one prove their golf handicap?
It is registered.

There's a global golf handicap registry.?

If you want to play in competitions at your local club you will be allocated a golflink no. from Golf Australia. Anyone can access the site to check your daily handicap if they know your golflink no.

Far out. I ordered a dress from ASOS.com.au late Thursday. It arrived today. From the UK! From Leeds, to Heathrow, to Adelaide and through Customs via DHL tracking in just 1.5 business days and the weekend to get here to my door. DHL delivering in SA on a Sunday!!!! Shipping was free and dress just over $100, heavy satin and perfect fit. How do they make any money?

That far back? Why always males? Females don't get angry to the point they want to kill someone?
Excluding acts of terrorism. They get angry but tend to be more subtle. Poison. Domestic related. They don’t tend to kill randoms. Generalisation only.

probably but we don’t do it.

its interesting isn’t it? I certainly have a shocking temper. Very placid most of the time, but when I do get angry it’s pretty ugly. However I couldn’t imagine wanting to hurt something or someone.

Maybe this will change over time -is it nature or nurture? Testosterone seems to make men more likely to be aggressive. On the other hand women have had years of taking the nurturing role - this seems to be changing with young women much more forceful -will this lead to women being more likely to take a gun and massacre people -hope not!

As per a post previously, I had something sent from Sydney on the 6th Feb, still haven't received it in Canberra. Lastway's tracking number says it's been picked up...... I've since had 3 followup emails, that I haven't been forgotten and will be notified soon as soon as they have an answer. idiots....

That’s nothing. :). A waitress we got friendly with at one of the camps in Botswana has had a baby and I sent her some baby clothes. Posted from Canberra on the 11th January, got to Joburg on the 23rd January and there it sits. I have told her to expect the parcel in about 3 months - but why she said - it only takes a few hours to drive from Botswana, :). Fortunately I bought big sizes. For those who don’t know, things like postal services in South Africa have disintegrated - really kicking myself for using post and not a courier...... There is a pretty fair chance it will just get lost, so I will try again in a few months with a courier service. :)

I was actually wondering the other day, while a co worker was having a cry because of family stress, do guys cry anymore?

As a woman, I can have a cry and feel much better and then tackle what's troubling me with a clearer head. Hasn't happened for a long time but when I was younger and less empowered, I would.

The newest member of my husband's family.

Gibson in financial strife at the moment so he took advantage of a sale. Good thing we went to the Gibson factory in Memphis (where he picked up his Les Paul) when we had the chance, before they close down.

Yeah. That’s pretty typical Aussie service standards. And expensive to boot. I was just surprised to see a DHL guy on my doorstep this afternoon. The tracking note and text said it would be delivered today but I didn’t believe it.

Me: You hungry?
Him: No, I'll just have watermelon tonight.
Me: OK. I'm ordering Chinese.
Him: I'l have Peking beef!

How did not hungry, I'll have fruit end up with him eating Chinese?

All very interesting.

I have a theory. A conspiracy theory. The CIA is involved using mind altering drugs.
