Why have Kmart moved the check-outs to the middle of their stores? It would seem to increase the risk of theft if the person at the front of the store isn't vigilant enough. And I am sure it takes up more room that when the checkout was at the front. Stoopid!

Received a call from Austtalian embassy. Visa decision/documents have been couriered out.

Had this exact issue yesterday, our store is now in the new style and I couldnt find anything! Then the girl wanted to check my receipt at the door but it was at the bottom of the stack of dinnerware I was holding....

I get really annoyed when I have bought something and then the 'security' on the door wants to check the receipt plus the items. Basically I don't buy stuff at shops like that now. JB and Bunnings are the only ones that come to mind at present.

We got tourist visa. Huge sigh of relief. Prayers helped although only 3 months single entry tourist visa. Going back to Thailand end June so will need to apply for bridging visa B?

And one has to love the 2 hour Happy Hour at Holiday Inn Sukhumvit as a lowly IHG Platinum. Full. Also first time I've had Broker's gin. Not bad.

And as a noted high spender I gave the 2 Executive lounge staff THB100 each for taking care of daughter.

Nah. Only AUD4.20 as I exchanged at THB23.80 the other day. But I did give each of them that tip. Most don't tip at all.

according to her father she hated the company - lots of rants about how the platform didn’t share revenue etc etc, So just unlucky people in the wrong place - or maybe lucky - at least they are still alive.

I refuse on principle to shop there now......... not that KMart was ever my “go to” department store.

Super annoying. I agree that it must be easier to shoplift, by adding something to the bags after going through the checkouts. Never assume the new methods are better than the tried & true, but some consultant probably got paid a Motza for coming up with a new layout.
