Agreed. Would rather a relaxed meal in the FLounges, and save Spa Treatments/Massages for resorts. Sleep in, eat, read, swim, massage, coughtails, eat. Rinse and repeat.

Except I’m usually full from the great food onboard and the idea of stuffing another meal in between two others doesn’t appeal! I’d rather have a quick 15 min massage to help a stiff neck, a lovely hot shower and a short sit down over a G&T. It means I have moving about and not going from sitting on a plane to sitting in a lounge to sitting on a plane.

Oh, but isn’t that a bit, em, naughty?

Well, I have a new love right now. Angle grinder.

I am vowing never to touch one. A friend did a nasty job on his hand on the weekend. He was very lucky not to lose a thumb or function.

I know. My absolute last resort. I tried using all the hand gadgets, googled, etc etc. I don’t have the strength in my hands to do it manually. On the other hand my grandmother cut a tendon on a kitchen carving knife.

Very lucky!
My father shaved the end off his right thumb using a circular saw. Apparently rushed into mother, wrapped it in a clean tea towel and then proceeded to drive to the hospital. Unfortunately he got very woozy half way there! Doctors didn't want to take the thumb off at the joint as it would have affected his movement too much, so sort of gathered up what tissue they could to sew it back together.
Funny thing was that he got workers' comp for the thing as although it was on a Saturday at at home, he was making a carry frame for work.

In the end a $50 toaster vs a $200 toaster means that you can get 4x$50 toasters if it breaks down

But surround sound systems are different.

Spa treatments - no point won’t change any thing.
But you see the problem with the cheaper toaster is that it doesn't cook evenly; drives me nuts!

Like all things - a good hair dyer is the one that makes your leading ladies happy.

Got a couple of nasty scars from an errant angle grinder over the years. Also when I was much younger and using an angle grinder on a regular basis, I was too much of a 'man' to wear eye protection, don't need that I can cope! One piece of metal stuck to the eyeball fixed that stupidity, very fortunate that there were no lasting effects.

That is a lucky escape

Angle grinders ... Treat very carefully like you expect the worst every time. However they can be extremely useful.

You might think that this is a photograph of the Al-Aqsa mosque at Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

In fact, it's a photograph of a bunch of twits who decided to go to one of the holiest Muslim and Christian sites anywhere, wearing shorts. They have to hire the green sarong thing. (There were more blokes than women in them, that I saw.)

So you can identify 'em :)

Had one too, where I was cutting up an old wheel barrow to put in the recycle bin. Thin cutting blade jammed and broke throwing jagged blade into leg 50mm above knee. Wound was approx 60mm long by 20mm deep.
Luckily no nerve damage so easily sewn up after bit of blood loss. If you front at ED bleeding and dripping on their floor you seem to get priority.
When the incident happened was wearing safety glasses, earmuffs and steel toed boots, just nothing between shorts and boots.
