Why does bottled water sold in an Edinburgh pizza shop have written on the bottles a 10 cent refund when returned to shops in South Australia ?

Really? You’d think those labels would only be locally produced.

Think I have had the flu shot once. Not sure if my lack of physical contact with the general public or co-workers has kept me flu free for the past 10 years. I can go days and not come in contact with another human. Now... talking on the telephone / computer... is another story.

Ummm can’t get influenza through chatting on skype or mobile. Maybe the much hyped 5G changes that?:D

On my CHC-BNE flight there were 53 SPMLs. Of course the people concerned didn't sit in their allocated seats.

The tour guide was pressed into service to determine who was who as the meals were issued

I understand if youre in the health industry or deal with a lot of ebola-ridden randoms but why get the flu shot?

I dont see the point. Its natural to get sick, die even plus the strain changes. Not that I wish sickness or death on someone but I refuse flu shots.
There is nothing natural about getting knocked out with the flu at least 3 times a year and you're not even 35 years old. I remember one year I got the flu in July and I was still not right in October. That is a long time to suffer. And I mean suffer.

Since 1999 I have had the flu vaccine and until 2-3 years ago I had the flu 3-4 times in that time. The last 2-3 years I have had the flu a few more times but I think the quality of the flu vaccine has been poor.

And aside from the flu add the times I have had laryngitis, pharyngitis or tonsilitis and it is not fun at all especially as some infections can last 6-8 weeks with 3-4 courses of antibiotics.

What was @juddles saying earlier? "Sucks to be you" is just about spot on.

I must be fortunate. I have never had a flu shot, I almost never get a cold, and I’m unsure if I have ever had full blown flu.
My mother who is 84 YO , has never had a cold or flu in her life, has been to hospital only a handful of times, mostly to bring 4 children into the world. So whilst I don’t subscribe to flu shots, I do support the idea that the less resilient among us should take every precaution.
Flu can be a nasty illness for many people.

The only way to know if you have influenza is to get tested for it.
Mostly people get “flu-like illness” which is not flu

Likewise, have never had a flu shot or had flu. Can't remember the last time I had a cold, but not since I retired 6 years ago and probably a couple of years before that so maybe 8 or 9 years ago. Had cancer for a couple of years but as it didn't kill me, can't be as bad as flu.

3am delivery was from:
Rawandfresh.com.au (kangaroo meat)

To which we add cereal and grains (vets all natural complete mix) from:
vetsallnatural.com.au

The dogs just vacuum it up in seconds

Apart from treats the dogs eat RAW unprocessed food

I wondered if it was! I use them - roo basics used to be what the cat got. I use the chicken essentials for the dog and I haven’t been happy with it since they changed the packaging. Smells very strong and hate the plastic - find it very messy.

I feed it in conjunction with Prime100 rolls (and patties if I can find them), K9 Naturals Beef Feast and some stews my friend makes.

Doing a office clean out and did an product swap with the company on level 3 :D

I hate throwing out good stuff (packaging changed) and this way, it gets used.

We did one of these recently. Holy heck there is a lot of stuff stockpiled in cupboards!

Do you get transport trials product in trade or old rewind? It’s a good day when they appear in the office!

I have been fortunate - never had the flu or a flu shot. I rarely get colds, and if I do then I cycle through them very quickly.

Sinus infections and bronchitis when I travel however...

Whatever the illness I know I have had it less often since getting the yearly flu vaccine.

Berkshire Record Office charges UKP1 per image taken, with your own camera, of their records. Bloody Stone Age attitude. Most other archive offices charge nothing! and I can get through maybe 50-100 images in a day.

Mind you, they also charge 60p for a cup of hot water for tea.

Perhaps that's where BA got the idea from with their BOB offering!

So are you going to bring them to home :)

We now collect bottles at the office for local sport team fund raising.

Living black in America.

This guy was moving into his upper west side apartment and someone called the cops on him for breaking in. Six. Six cops showed up.

This guy works for comcast and had cops called on him while doing his job.

Indeed. People say they have the flu but if they are upright and merely coughing sneezing or a bit unwell then they have a simple respiratory infection. If you’ve had the flu you know it. I’ve not had it either.

Yes. I’ve met them. Same people who tell you they have a migraine, but still manage a glass of wine and a meal.

On the other hand, I had a friend call around to ‘keep me company’ when she found out I was in bed and well into my 2nd day of migraine :rolleyes:o_O
