I saw a bit of On the Buses and Love Thy Neighbour a few weeks ago. Now its disgraceful, back then we (the nation/community) thought it was funny.

I never liked Some Mothers Do Have Them or Benny Hill. Never found them funny.

Why is it that the same day that you have no power (planned outage) is the very day you find your super techno iPhone charger thingy decides it won’t charge overnight and you find you are on 6% battery in the morning? Currently going for a drive to charge it.

BTW, 3/4 hire cars on my present trip had the cigarette lighter plug either broken or disabled, so unable to charge from them.

Phone recharge power pack ; good for traveling, seems an essential item in SA too!

Solar power pack is my husbands latest toy. Aways charged and it has enough power stored to charge two phones to 100% (we tested this).

Well yes. But I’ve already packed it for travel.
I think they are just cutting down some trees in the next street. We’ve had a change in Government now and they are trying to reverse or improve on a lot of ‘stuff’ ups.

What's the mWh rating?
Please. Youve met me, as if I know what that means let alone able to tell you ;)

As a end user, it was fast and recharged 2 x samsung phones on a full solar charge. Hubby packs it in his backpack for his mens chasing waterfalls photography group - for just in case - and when driving around on holidays, he puts it on the dash for recharge.

I've been lucky, 5/5 of the hire cars I've had in the last few weeks have all had USB ports in them so can just charge through there (although not at great speed). When I've needed GPS etc. have plugged into the cigarette lighter and used the 2A port on the charger and worked great.

We have a technician stand off. SA Power Networks have blocked off our street and now NBN installers (surprise surprise, back again) are sitting in their truck outside our house waiting for access. Still no power here. Tethering to my phone. Will have to go for a drive and charge it again soon.

Staying at the 4 Points,Langford,Vancouver Island.A round of the Rugby Women's 7s was played in Langford this weekend.Teams are staying here.Recognised a couple of the Aussie women from the Com. Games coverage.Looked rather battered with scrapes and bruises. No wonder the Kiwis won 46-0.
The Kiwis are just arriving back-a little early as only 2130 but sound just a wee bit happy with their singing.

So next week I have to make a choice between a number plate collectors club meeting in Holland, (yes, really!) or a round of the European Historic Rally Championship in northern Spain, this is after I've been inland from Nice for a couple of days.
Then I'm of to Ostrava in eastern Czech Republic to visit the Tatra factory/museum. Then more decisions! Do I go to an Oldtimertreffen and Teilmakt focusing on old DDR, eastern Europe stuff just east of Berlin, or the Classic Ford show at Santa Pod in England. Decisions, decisions.
