So next week I have to make a choice between a number plate collectors club meeting in Holland, (yes, really!) or a round of the European Historic Rally Championship in northern Spain, this is after I've been inland from Nice for a couple of days.
Then I'm of to Ostrava in eastern Czech Republic to visit the Tatra factory/museum. Then more decisions! Do I go to an Oldtimertreffen and Teilmakt focusing on old DDR, eastern Europe stuff just east of Berlin, or the Classic Ford show at Santa Pod in England. Decisions, decisions.
The historic rally and Teilmakt gets my vote.

Maybe you should toss a coin. :D:eek:

Nice mother’s day lunch at the historic Hyatt Canberra. Always a nice place.

As daughter is in Wagga it’s a nice halfway point

Except for the family who went there dressed like they were flying NoStar and then took all the lobster tails from the buffet:mad::mad::mad:

Classy then! Really adds to the ambience.

Ha! Sounds like a branch from my brother in laws family. The side that you get warned to keep your handbag close when they are visiting sisters house, attending weddings ect.

They had those table hooks for handbags.
MrsQS mentioned that we should get some for when we go to restaurants who don’t have them. I said I’ll look in Bunnings.they sell all sorts of decorative hooks there

Glad you enjoyed it.
I passed your comments on to my wife.
She was the hot buffet chef on the day.
Nice lunch. :) Compliments to the chef.
I liked the Duck and slow cooked ? Angus.

The sashimi tuna was a weird pink not the usual dark red. But no worries there as NoStar seafood family swiped that too.

The tuna wasn't her.
I'm getting lucky tonight having slow cooked beef ribs in red wine. At work she cooked the beef and duck overnight.

Currently on hold at the Australian Passport Information Service and they have been 'playing' incredibly discordant and distorted 'classical' music for over 10 mins.
Designed to persuade people to hang up I suppose.

Edit: After 21 minutes spoke to a person to confirm that if you are making a new application all you get to print is the 'application checklist', not the application itself.

Oh and with winter coming, a PSA that the beanies with the hole on the top for your hair (pony tail, bun ect) was awesome to wear! I hate wearing beanies because of my hair but enjoyed wearing these ones I got for Scotland/will be taking to Iceland next year.

I don't know why I haven't thought of doing this before. If you need some tripspiration, fly into one of the Balkan countries and pickup a car.. Then drive in a big loop. There are some stunning drives, amazing scenery and friendly people all over. Booking accommodation each night as we go (which I NEVER do!) has worked really well and still really cheap.
