Reminds me, Beatrice and Eugenie’s hats were disappointing. :p
And who was wondering about Pippa? She got an invite.
Pipas dress looked like that can of green tea with the cherry blossoms.

4;45am in a run down motel in Hornsby, have not been to sleep, hubby snoring & jumping around too much. I am going to be dead on my feet tomorrow. Can’t remember the last time I stayed awake all night.
Bad hotels suck, good luck with today

Hornsby is not a destination so does not qualify to go into AFF destination guideo_O
. Just a train station . It has a big Westfield. That’s about it.
Good restaurants- nothing inspiring but one or 2 are reasonable. Can recommend if you like.

I like to think my eggs come from happy chooks. The shells are much stronger and don’t crack when I have boiled eggs with soldiers!
Suppose you don’t do organic free range chicken either?
I'm not a fan of chicken but I don't generally buy free range as I'm price conscious. I do buy generic wings and drumsticks for chicken rice soup occasionally.

that is so sad :( :(
If you look carefully the legs of the rider are fake. He is actually standing and walking the whole contraption - his torso starts moving when the cart moves. The chicken and helmet are red herrings - just devices to take your gaze away from his torso - hence my trick question
:D:D:D

At least the chicken is not crossing the road this timeo_O

doesnt make it any less sad! Clearly the chicken is not capable of pulling that weight, but it looks so miserable in all that traffic and things tied to it :( :(

It was just a one nighter, as I did not want to drive back up the freeway at 11:30pm.
Next door did not stop talking until someone yelled - shutup at 1:30am, Hubby had a very restless night, there was only 1 bed, so no where else to move too.
Back home at 9:30am and now just out of bed.
Daughter has made it to state finals, so rinse-repeat again in a couple of weeks at Darling Harbour.

At least darling harbour has a Novotel, unlike Hornsby
Booked in to Holiday Inn at Kings Cross, close to hubbys brother for a catch-up. Plus the prices are a bit exi because Vivid is on.
I don't mind paying several hundred for a room when it is a weekend away for me, but when we are going just to be the support crew for a competition, I just want a bed for the night. (make that 2 beds)

Ah, I forgot about Vivid. We did it a few years ago and yes, the hotel was $$$ for being close to the action.

Mr FM buys organic free range from the Farmers Market (Epic for Canberrans) for $11 a dozen.

I made the mistake of telling Mr FM I wanted to see what the dress was like and he is now reading me in depth details from some 4 page description he found - all I wanted was a picture!

The dress at the wedding got absolutely slayed by everyone I was with, not a single nice comment to say! They liked the afters dress much better, though.

They have no regard for anyone. How much time should you leave to get to your destination? I had planned to get to OOL at 2:30pm for a 3:55pm flight and only just made it. Should I have allowed more time? Saturday/Sunday may not be as important as weekdays but shutting down an important central rail network at that time is stupid.

Pay overtime and work at nights when trains are not scheduled to run.

Do they give advance notice? They do here, so you can at least plan properly. I'd rather do it that way than do it at night at higher rates and drive up the cost of our fare even more.....

Always worth a look at Meriton prices with their various locations-we scored a good deal last year during Vivid
