Theres nothing wrong with our roundabouts - its the damn tourists who don't know where they are going ! :D

So which golf course were you driving to ??? ;););)
Wasn't driving to any golf course but did pass 5-6 golf courses on the weekend. Must come back when it is warmer and play some golf. ;)

P.S. Stopped at a fruit market near Kawana and then resumed journey back down to Brisbane and 15 minutes later we were back at same fruit market. Signs at roundabouts are awful.

You must have been tired and emotional to get back to the fruit market presuming you meant B-fresh.

We couldn’t get one after 2 weeks trying last time we tried. Ask FM?
did you try the day the booking opened? From what I have seen at their site, bookings are released on a certain date and time and I was planning to be sitting at the keyboard ready to book? I would like to book on Master FMs birthday, but he is planning to come to New York for a week, so I have a range of dates. Having managed to get Hamilton tickets, I feel I am on a roll here :). Bookings don’t open for 11MP until next year. The food looks divine!

Can’t remember now but go for it!

Be open to eating late and sometimes it’s easier to find a booking.

Last time I tried to book over a 12 day trip, there was 1 availability - 10pm on the day I flew out :(

So while away in Croatia the Award seats for next years flight to the USA became available so they are now booked one way. Will have enough points in a month to book return seats. Into SFO. Has anyone done a camping trip into the Grand Canyon? Not for me, I’ll stay up top but a surprise for MrP. In mid May. Any comments welcome.

We will then make our way to Calgary and do a Viking tour of the Rockies then a 12 night Alaska cruise from Vancouver.

A bit rude given I’m currently here:

In Croatia.

I dont mind them as long as there is enough room between the gaps to escape and the seat bottom is high. Its when you get chairs/seats that are low to the ground I get pissy because us giants (5 11+, 6 3 in heels) get forgotten about and we fall into the seat like our bum is scratching the ground. Asian market seat design?

I also had to explain "asian sizing" to a coworker from Vietnam, she had no idea one size does not fit all.

Yes a bit rude so Ive deleted the offensive pictures:D

Re Grand Canyon camping.
Never done it - but have to make reservations for sites inpark very early. They fill up very quickly
but my next GC bucket list thing is a stay at Phantom Ranch - at the bottom of the Canyon

Phantom Ranch | Grand Canyon National Park Lodges

You have practice getting rare QF FF tickets so it should be easy peasy wrangling a spot

That was bad luck! Yes we are totally open to eating at any time and on any day in the week (apart from the night we have Hamilton tickets).

i will second that - we stayed at El Tovar at the Grand Canyon. We booked a year in advance. We got two rooms without any problem, but all the nicest ones were gone. The booking agent told me that they had a lot of people who returned every year. We loved the Grand Canyon. An interesting walk - a few km, where they have info on the various rock formations at regular points and you can look out and see them. They are re-establishing condors and we were lucky enough to see them.
