Old PC appears to have lost power. Can't disconnect the battery. Have been charging over 24 hours and still no power.

Intetesting to see if hard drive still alicw. Don't have much data but did have my flight bookings and haven't synced for a few months. Luckily I can reconstruct from AFF meeting threads but future flights not there yet.

You mean the laptop. desktop PC dont have batteries?
Sorry you mean you cant turn it on?
Yes laptop. Can't turn it on. Played some nursery rhymes for daughter in the morning and tried again in evening and no power.

Would you take your child to a Michelin star restaurant and then negative review with "nothing to accommodate children"?

Children not welcome in Michelin star restaurants?
No. They were welcomed and sat and given the restaurant menu but the parent reviewed "nothing to accommodate children"

Would you take a child to a michelin star restaurant AND the menu is online and then cough about the food not accommodating children?

What did she expect, chicken nuggets?

Turn it over and remove the battery and plug into power. If still fails to boot. Buy a new laptop.

Understand all that but carrying a grudge isnt the best way to live a life.
Forgiveness is not as black and white as you put it. As a result of the abandonment the kids now hold a massive grudge. Their mother may have tried to ask for forgiveness but the forgiveness was too difficult for the kids and so they hold a grudge now for the rest of their lives which can never be reconciled however they rationalise it. Sad thing is if they ever regret it its too late.

I’m kind of with Denali here. I never liked the Prodigal Son parable either. It’s like people who are nasty all their lives then fess up on their death bed. So all is supposed to be ok.

New couch and armchair arrived today. It's so nice to sit on new furniture.

Now, since a whole bunch of space has been created, there's a solid reason to ramp up my very slow redevelopment of the wine rack I bought last year.
