I don't know how he gets time to raise a family with all the time he spends here :)
By being on-line at 3am while the family is asleep  . Oh the joys of working for a muti-national organisation. Global conference calls - the way to experience Jetlag without the duty-free allowance  .

And then back on the dog-and-bone again at 6am for another conference call. At least I had 1.5 hours sleep in between, which is probably better than I ever got on the dreamtime-configured QF trans-Pacific flights of the past.

Congrats, NM! That's an awesome post count. Well done and thanks for all of your input. ;)

NM, I too wish to entend my congratulations on achieving this level of posts. Maybe we need a new descrition; I know it's hidden under "Moderator", but "Posting Freak" simply no longer seems to cut it in your case.

4,000 posts here and 7,619 currently over on FT...not a bad effort NM.

Perhaps the use of Evangelist (like on FT) would be more appropriate.

I've been called a lot worse! Perhaps something like "Get a Life" might be appropriate  .

I must be really bored with my life! I have just read all the posts in this thread!

This thread hasn't reached critical mass yet but it must be close.

Does this mean the thread is Cyclic ... or is it running in a loop? Like the mythical Oozle Woozle Bird—This bird flies around in ever decreasing concentric circles until it finally disappears up its own fundamental orifice!

It's running in a loop, a bit like QF's IFE system. Sometimes it seems broken and requires rebooting part way through the program.

Ahhh, so you are a J poster. Us poor Y posters were just woken from our slumber with some announcement about rebooting the thread :D

we apologise in advance that this flight is too short to watch the entire thread, you may like to select a shorter thread so that you can see it too the end

LOL! Just as good as one of your other famous theories.

Careful with this thread; one day it will achieve critical mass and due to it's inherent instability it will behave in a similar fashion to that of the fabled 'Phoux' bird of Far Eastern legend.

This bird flew about in ever-decreasing concentric circles until it disappeared down its own fundamental orifice and emerged in the fourth dimension as a needle-thin umber bird!

Haha :) Although for any "get a life" inductee, date and times of postings should also be taken into account when working out whether to get a life, or to stop bludging at work :D

Maybe Insomniac is another possible promotional title for those who acheive a certain number of posts and fit certain criteria.

Yes, quite interesting given that Jollibee is bigger in Manila than McDonalds. That and the fact that the 7/11's in most countries have locks even though they state they are open 24 hours a day.

I still use soap on a rope.

Now get this, I have an HSBC HKG100 note, an HSBC HKD20 note, an HSBC HKD10 note, a "Bank of China" HKD20 note, a "Standard Chartered bank" HKG20 note and a "Standard Chartered bank" HKD10 note. I gues that's where the term "Bank Note" comes from.
I am intrigued by the variety of HKG notes in circulation!

I have an HSBC HK$100 note, a "Bank of China" HK$100 note, a "Bank of China" HK$50 note, 2 different HSBC HK$20 notes, a "Bank of China" HK$20 note, 2 different "Standard Chartered Bank" HK$20 notes and a "Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" HK$10 note.

If you look carefully the different notes from the same bank are because they are different years of issue.

i.e. Not only are there several (4, I think) banks issuing the notes they each change them each year. ..... at least they still write some of the words in english.
