The bathroom in my new office reminds me a lot of the QP/BA Galleries bathrooms. It has the good quality hand towels and Molton Brown products. :p

All it needs is a three-jet shower (i.e. overhead sprinkle, upper body and lower body jets).

Don't tell me it's got one of those, too?

Molton Brown are pretty good amenities. Too bad they aren't featured in any "take-away" amenities that I've come across (although I'm come close to temptation in unscrewing a bottle of Molton Brown body wash and taking it with me...)

Haha, no. No shower in that bathroom. I haven't checked out the showers here as I'm not riding in.

These ones aren't screwed down .. :p

Can anyone tell me if there are any markets in Brisbane similar to Flemington markets in Sydney?

I am looking to buy a new laptop bag but do not want to spend more than $30.

Thanks Mark. I am not too sure I want a laptop with skulls on it though.

I shall go downstairs to Coles and have a look around....

On the 737-400 do I want 4E (D and F not selectable) or 8D (E currently also selectable)?

From memory row 4 and 5 on a 734 still have some extra legroom. I believe row 6 is also not too bad.

If you can handle a middle seat then go for it.

So back to my original question. I would appreciate it if anyone can answer it please.

Can anyone tell me if there are any markets in Brisbane similar to Flemington markets in Sydney?

Laptop bag is one of them for $38.95 which to me is a much better deal than the coles one.
I received a PM from a very kind AFF'er who has offered to post me a brand new laptop bag they do not need.

I am not sure whether they would want their handle made public but I appreciate the very kind gesture. Thanks again.

The new coorparoo markets might be the closest.
Has anyone been to these markets and are they worthwhile for a visit?

Thinking of spending this weekend in Brisbane and looking for something to pass the time. I wish I had taken the golf clubs with me....

Went there on Sunday for a look-see. No more than 20 stalls, even spending a long time looking I couldn't see you spending more than 30 mins there. (That was the food area)

The F&V looked good, so did the meats. Seafood wasn't that special. I think the markets are ok, but they need a few more weeks for the tenants to settle in and get used to what their buyers want.

Didn't look through the floor level. I wouldn't travel too far to go there!!

Perhaps Chandler market might be more suitable? (I haven't been there, but have heard good things)

You’re welcome to come down to the Gold Coast, we have about 3 sets of spare clubs (assuming you’re right handed) and I’m sure I can arrange a game at Royal Pines if you like.

On a different topic, I was looking at the new fares MEL-SIN on JQ and found this lovely anomaly:

Code:
JetSaver Light $409
JetSaver $429
JetPlus $489
JetFlex [B]$799[/B]
StarClass $749

Still not amazing fares, but I can’t imagine how many that might catch out, less for J SC’s.

Back in 1989, my uncle and family used to shop at F&V markets, if you're looking for wholesale F&V. I'm having trouble remembering where, but maybe around salisbury somewhere.

Also, I'm in Brisbane this weekend for a reunion of my former regiment. Should have a spare hour or two if you do stay around and don't have something better to do. Getting in about midday friday and out 6:30am Sunday on Jetstar. That's going to be fun after Saturday night.

I've noticed that for a while. Also noted that they are due to start in a month but still are saying flights are subject to regulatory approval.

I'm trying *class for the FT SIN do in January - 749 one way, 719 the other. Should be interesting. Oh, and sorry for quoting the whole post, this awkward from a phone. :)

I'm sort of hoping that they have a sale once they get regulatory approval confirmed. But still January might be a bit soon.

I'm using it as my shuttle to SIN in late DEC. Bit more expensive ($999) then, but hopefully they'll have everything sorted and there will be no hitches. The fare seems to drop on Jan 12 (Seasonality I assume)
