I was a bit distracted by the magnificant forward view from the coughpit, but there may have been some IBE* attached to the equipment gantry installed down the inner roof line.

(* In Bus Entertainment)
 
What about the drinks service - free or pay your for your own....

You were not on an eligible fare class :p . But had I escorted you to the air-side facilities at the airport, the carriage service would have included lounge access ;).

But please note that both the economy class and business class seats convert to fully flat and horizontal beds. But even though the First Class seats seats do not convert into flat beds, they do provide thermal enhancement upon request (not that I have had need to test this feature in Qld).

No, I did not think this was appropriate as I believe I would be classed as 'non-rev'.

Actually, in this particular case there was no en route service due to the short travel time. However the fine pre-boarding service was indeed complimentary. :p
