I'm steeling myself for a similar inappropriate comment from Little Miss 5 when we go to Hawaii in Y.
...Am pretty sure as long as she has juice, chupa chups, and her DVD player, she'll be fine.

Hopefully, Katie, little miss 5 will cope with the come down and won't have any issues with inadequate seat pitch/seat width:D. When I was 6 (and sister pineapple was 3) the pineapples were exported to the US, flying F on a QF 707. Bulkhead row and all. But no lounges I think. When I was 8 we were similarly reimported. We have done a lot of travelling in Y since then and I didn't have any sense of relative deprivation...but I did when we arrived into SYD and came down the stairs to do customs in a shed. Recall thinking what sort of third world country is this:shock:?

Can't remember a lot of the journey, except the seat seemed enormous with a 3 year old in it. And pit stops in HNL and NAN en route to SFO. As a seat it might have been similar to todays Y+ with more seat pitch and recline, anyone game to admit recall of what QF F seats were like back then?

Cheers skip

I fondly recall when the BNE international terminal was a hangar, not that long ago. Thought it was just great & that the architects had come up with just the right ambience.

Just done 3 flights in the past 24 hours on Cebu Pacific,

Cebu has not yet had a flight leave on time.

All up I have done 7 flights on not one has ever been on time.

God I hate having no status with an airline.

Having status with them wouldn’t help you get away on time though :p

Enjoy!

Cove, you should gave leaned over and whispered "we came here to listen to her sing, not you eat". You'd have got the standing ovation

And when his mobile rang what etiquette should I have used at that point?? I wanted to crush that as well.
Yes I gave ON-J the ovation instead.

Are iphones really hard to use or is the blonde near me just a little slow? She has to be talked through how to setup and use her brand new iphone. Oh and luckily it has a case as she already has dropped it. Lol.

The conclusion seems to be that people who will struggle to use technology generally can't be saved, period.

It still begs to reason that Apple purport that they are the most accessible devices to anyone. Don't tell me they had an asterisk saying that the dumb still can't be saved.

Well they can’t be, I’m sure that girl (if that was a real test) promptly went out and bought the Android device only to fail at it too :p

Oops it must have been my doppelgänger as I am safely ensconced in NTL this weekend

Not just blondes that have trouble with iPhones, when I first bought my 3GS last year it took me 6 weeks before I realised that if I
downloaded something from iTunes it was saved to the phone and I didn't need to connect to iTunes store every time I wanted to
watch a Top Gear episode,:oops::oops:
Cheers

Was dining out last night at a nameless restaurant. Took about 10 mins for order to be taken and i order a drink, entree, main and some sides.

Drink turned up 5 mins later when another staffer asked if i wanted a drink and i advised id already ordered one.

About 30 mins later main turns up with sides and an apology that they were out of the entree due to being slammed the night before and an ordering issue. No request if i wanted something else instead.

At least the main was really good. But they really have bad service worked out to a tee.

Is this supposed to be a good restaurant (from the outside)?

Also, did you dine alone or with someone else?

Very excited little vegemite today...

First ever ride on the A380! :D

Albeit in whY, but barring a disaster, 80A is mine. Longest flight I have been on before was ~8 hours which wasn't very nice...so let's see how ~14 hours goes!

Dining out in Perth, by any chance Mal? Here I think that counts as normal 'service'... :(

Only a small family run restaurant. There was a 3% amex surcharge. They really don't want to accept amex... And strangely there were no backpackers involved.

Up in cairns this weekend. Laid back is usually the style but this was exceptionally bad service wise.
