Apparently the scorecard is wrong, two leg byes were Rudd's, 71-31, at least India now have a team they can beat!

According to news.com (Yeah I know) the worst is yet to come,let's hope it's not as bad as they are forecasting.

He won't quit.... He's the man who ended Howard's reign, he's the only ALP leader in a generation to actually win an election.

He wants that to be his legacy - which others then squandered.

As tempting as it would be for him to throw his toys out of the cot due to his "ungrateful colleagues", he won't.

He won't want to go down as the guy who sank the ALP.

Didnt make the news (unusual for nonews) but following the JQ checkin meltdown Friday, The QF BagDrop failed at MEL yesterday morning.

75 pax out of ~ 150 on the midday flight arrived in ADL (incl my sister) and had no luggage on arrival (strangely despite delayed departure and the pilot announcing they were "waiting for the last of the luggage to be loaded").

It made the news

Interesting idea. Former ALP left faction member to lead the Liberals and the Liberals to agree to merge with the national party. The former is more likely, IMO.

Billy Hughes changed parties five times in his parliamentary career,he went from Labor to National Labor to Nationalist to Australian Party to United Australia to Liberal.
somehow I can't see that happening in the Australia of 2012.
