Just noticed an ad on foxtel for "brand new episodes" on an episode called cable car collision or something like that. As it's not in the list above, it could be a while before this season gets here.

I picture the area leading up to the polling booth as being totally empty. If they get in the way I keep walking at them.

But I did get to discuss nuclear free zones with my local councillor at a booth last time I voted. That was sort of fun.

Well this morning has been a frustrating write-off.

Firstly we have to vote today. Australian democracy at its finest - the choice between a goose and a monkey. I think slitting wrists is sometimes better than having to live under such a governmental regime.

Next, we're supposed to pick up a bunch of furniture for my sister's new house. We even made a special request to our uncle to borrow his ute. Go to the furniture store, and the <insert multiple expletives here> <insert expletive noun here>s tell us that the order hasn't arrived and might not until late next week, even though we had been told that we can expect to pick them up two days ago (but we negotiated to pick them up today because we needed a better vehicle).


Needless to say I'm home now and still festering in a livid state of rage. I was so desperate I snapped a box of pencils.


Sigh.... rant over. Pray for a better day.....

If we didn't have to vote, we would still have geese and monkeys. And surely there is a candidate in your 3, 4 or 5 to choose from that you dislike the *least*.

Re the rest of the day - yeah that's frustrating, but part of the way things work unfortunately. You'll call beforehand next time won't you !

If you vote for the minor parties and there are 5 candidates then your fourth vote listing for one of the 2 major parties then that is the part of your voting that counts.
