Re: Time for "Stupidity of the Day"

The powers that be must've known you were travelling Tony. These are the same people who routinely delay JohnK's flights ex BNE on Friday nights.

Remember that on a 734 there will only be one F/A to board so you either need to be there at the get go or go on last. I think you can possibly guess how the rest of the boarding process will go.

I'm in the J lounge, gathering my things together, preparing to join the scrum at gate 2. (I really should find a way to avoid the QF international flights out of SYD.)

I have to say your post did bring a smile to my face. It will be the last one today though! Long haul Y awaits.

My brother gave me a Bayern Minich Champions final t-shirt. I guess I probably should have put it on eBay before Chelsea won the final.

Chelsea? Meh!!

What about them mighty Hammers? They won a match said to be worth £90,000,000 to the winner.

Glad to see them back up in the EPL, now my brother (supporter) can wager when we (my team - Aston Villa) play again next season!!

I had to send updates on FB as he is on a tour in South America and couldn't get to a television

+1. Grew up listening to them.

Andy died aged 30 in 1988. Only 1 left now (Barry) :(

Boys from Redcliffe - they'll be crying in the RSL's

Just drove past Keith009 walking with his latte, on his way back to work. Stopped and yelled out the window for him to get back to work :D

Haha. Who says he actually had been at work... Could be on his way there.

:confused:I must stop skimming - I read this as "walking his latte" ... and wondered briefly what breed a 'latte' was ... :p

That's what I read, but I'm not wearing my glasses

Does his latte have legs or wheels?

At the expense of Blackpool :(

I started supporting them during their time in the EPL 2 seasons ago, inspiring every weekend.

'Tis since the Mid 70's for West Ham when they won the FA cup (which they also won in 1980 when they won from the then "2nd Division").

LOTFAP is really living up to its name with this-
Sens. Schumer and Casey Propose Bill To Tax And Banish Rich Expatriates

I personally know a fellow educated in Australia, set up his business in Australia,Head Office is still in Australia but because he was born whilst his parents were in LOTFAP at the time of his birth he was an American Citizen. He renounced it last year and already has very limited access but now they want to ban him entirely.
It will be interesting to see when these geese suddenly realise that their country is bankrupt.

Actually only 50 million as West Ham had a parachute payment from the previous season after being relegated.

About to do some renos to our rental property (soon to be lived in again).

mrsdoc was out there the other day - thought the exterior looked "collapsed" at the corner of the balcony.

Fearing the worst, structural engineer called. Expecting $10k+ as repair estimate.

Asssessment: All superficial, will be fixed when re-render/re-paint occurs. Nothing to worry about!

Phew!!

Up in Hervey Bay again and the local ABC radio news led off with a report of a QF Dash 8 delayed for 4 hours last weekend due to a "bat strike".Apparently hit a bat on landing.
