Sometimes, it's really hard to say no to kids. Make of this as you will.

Will not be showing that to my Little Miss. She'll want me to become an FA so she can go to Mum's work. I reckon it would even be more exciting than my lolly bowls (on my desk at work). ;)

Does Miss M think you just sit at a computer all day and eat lollies? :p

Probably better than saying "Coffee, Tea or me?" :p  ..... err, I mean, ummm..... you know, 150 times 2 to 4 total times per day?

Looking forward to the trial run of the BNE-SYD commute via OOL this weekend.

Was reading through the QLD Govt budget papers this morning. An interesting part:

Under Revenue Measures for Transport&Main Roads, there is:
The Government will introduce a merchant fee charge for credit card transactions.

Revenue: $3.5 Million (2013-2014) recurring.

As they only accept Visa/Mastercard, I do wonder what % this is.

ugh
got a terrible bug of some description
spent all day in bed yesterday
didn't sleep more than 10 minutes at a time overnight
pretty bad temperature, dizzy spells, stomach cramps, headaches...:(

But feeling OK enough to get in some AFF time... ;) Seriously though, hope you get better soon!

One or two people have commented how quiet bossreggie has been of late. You might also have noticed that he has started to post again though not very often.

I spoke with bossreggie yesterday and he has said I can pass on the following. For the past 5 weeks and for another week or so he is/has been in hospital in New Zealand. He is not allowed to fly for sometime yet and he has not had access to all his normal contact lists or phones.

One step closer to returning to the UK. Handed in notice today at work, will be unemployed as of the end of this month. Haven't booked flights but that will happen soon once I negotiate my actual end date.

Had a big lol though, in my resignation letter, I actually copied phrases from various emails sent by upper management over the last few months and pasted them together, adjusting them slightly to fit the situation. All of those "feel good" phrases that they send out came in very handy. A little bit of a "It's not you, it's me" break-up ;) Had a few colleagues proof read my letter and they laughed at how well it worked out. Slightly out of character for my usual writing, but contained all of the right buzz words.

Wonder if they'll realise I copied their phrases :D
PS, I'll be planning some quiet drinks one night in late Sept / early Oct. Stay tuned.
