Now add Origin Energy to my do not like list.We have a holiday unit.Highest electricity bill ever for a quarter was $167 for June this year.September quarters bill is $1023.

There has to be a misread.

I have heard that due to the carbon tax we are going to see increases but I don't want to see that type of increase.

When you need to change shoes at least daily & cannot wear the same ones day in, day out, YES!!! :D

I normally take 4 pairs... Thongs (flip flops if you ask my wife!!!), casual shoes, hiking / trail shoes, going out shoes

Are your previous readings estimates? In Victoria it's easy enough to tell from each bill.

Has anyone , seen , used or bought the ostrich pillow? Supposed to be the next big thing in long haul sleep comfort

It is I, Leclerc !

Yesterday was our 18th wedding anniversary:shock::cool::D & we made a last minute, spur of the moment call to do a day trip to Kyoto......Great Call:!:

Couln't have asked for a better day......Kyoto is beautiful.

The return bullet train trip was icing on the cake.......

So you'll miss out on priority boarding in ADL - oh wait a sec, they don't do it anyway! :p

Gotta say I've bigger issues now. Trying not to complain. But also trying to figure out how I was the only person in the first 4 or 5 rows on the A380 without an empty seat next to me. I was the only person that I observed getting the platinum greeting only after SWMBO told the guy I'd actually swapped 53B with my SiL. Only did this after she heard 53A answer to my name. Stole my shadow and my greeting. The only other possible platinum was the guy in about 57H with getting served wine from a bottle.

I hope that's 10 pairs for the famiy not just SWMBO?

I took 3 pairs in May to USA/Caribbean: One pair of Nike runners because you must have shoes you can do a lot of walking in. One pair of flip flops - comfortable ones bought from Foot Locker that were great for daytime to & from beach or hotel pool. One pair of Sandals with a medium heel for evening wear.

If all those shoes are for SWMBO I would be surprised if she wears half of them.

You (and I) hope in vain. Ended up being cut to 8 pairs. But I do know she will wear them. Each outfit includes the shoe choice.

My even bigger confusion is whether the $100 of TRS was worth missing out 40 minutes in the first lounge. In the realm of no good deed goes unpunished. I let a young girl jump in front whose flight was going in about 30 minutes. Turns out to be a tour guide with about 20 receipts.

Depends on how long you'd have in the First Lounge (i.e. if you only have 2 hours I'd be a bit tempted to skip).

But... $100 is $100! Unless you drink two whole bottles of champagne you're not paying that back. Of course, if you were exiting the country again within the 90 days of purchase, you could always delay your claim until then.

Kyoto is a wonderful place indeed. I hope you went to the Golden Temple, Kinkakuji.

And congratulations on 18 years of marriage. :)
