Your situation is not quite the same as Bundy Bear and myself. You are married and we are single. You go to sleep early where as we stay up much later drinking.

Actually, straitman stays up late eating ice cream :cool::mrgreen:

To be brutally honest, one of them isn't exactly correct...

They all have correct answers, although one is a little harder to express than the others (and not so good if you want to tell the time).....

I thought I should reply, since I made an offhanded remark on my thinking.

In one way I am mad. I just spent $2314.00 for a weekend, flights + accommodation + transport and food and drinks.
I was not being critical with my tongue-in-cheek comment.

You might say that your room rate is half of what a Hilton or Conrad is, I am never going to pay $750 a night for a room, that is what points are good for, but part of the fun of these Dos is catching up with people for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and maybe a few adult beverages in the evening.
I did not say you paid $750 for 1 night. Last year you spent $250 for a night at the Hilton whilst I spent $50 for a night to stay in Geylang.

I attended most events you attended except for breakfast at the Hilton and late drinks after the no signboard restaurant on Saturday night as I chose to have a long conversation with Hvr and wanted an early night to rest.

I would have loved to have gone this year as well but unfortunately planned my overseas trip for Christmas/New Year to see someone only to end up a nightmare trip instead.

I just look at where the hands are. Who needs complicated mathematical equations to work out the time ;)

+1 for a JohnK "my 10 day holiday" TR.

Would be a great comparison of what you're getting, what the golf courses, hotel rooms and "restaurants" are like.

You always (last trip excluded - not sure what happened....) have a great time so would be an interesting read ....

Learn times tables, how to use a calculator, how to read the periodic table, read a Shakespeare, construct a SC run... :)

OK I used a bit of artistic licence there... maybe we should also set that as a goal... ;)

Seeking Help / Advice

Anybody out there in FF land have any degree of knowledge regarding Cloud data services as opposed to physical in house servers.

Have had brief preliminary discussions with Telstra today but thought might be worth asking questions if any of you extremely knowledgeable characters have any experience with other more affordable providers?
