Yes they have called me. I wish I could remember the exact details.
Back when WP may have meant something or my PCV was higher I received proactive call on several occasions.

Referring to PROACTIVE, my OOL flights tomorrow have been cancelled and I have just spent 75 minutes on the phone rebooking them for next weekend.

I did not change a SYD MEL post-positioning flight as it was a separate 'unaffected' booking, so have just booked on points an afternoon flight up there ...

Anyone listening to the Hottest 100? My kids can't believe that a fossil like me does this every year.

My theory is that no matter the state of music, the top 10 will always be good. Not disappointed so far.

Why all the cancellations to OOL flights?

Looked at website and it suggests anyone travelling to OOL to think about deferring travel. It would be interesting to see what happens with my SYD-OOL flight on 28 January as I am going back to work.

I'm wondering why MCY isn't affected? It's not like the foul weather has missed us.....in fact it's getting worse.

ISTR one Friday when I saw you in the lounge at bne you mentioned they called you as you were arriving at the airport.

The flight they moved you to ended up delayed (but not as delayed as the one you were originally on!).

I feel like I am the only one supporting Azarenka in the Aus. Open final tonight. Hmmmm.

Well, that may be a slight exaggeration, but still. I reckon she's pretty cool.

I did not mind watching tennis until the grunting started. Can't stand it now....

Well, Azarenka is up there with the grunters! It was hilarious seeing the decibel test they showed during Maria Sharapova's game the other day.

My 17 year old daughter tells me that the Hottest 100 number 1, Thrift Shop (and the worst of the top 10 IMO) was not gangsta rap because it was mocking the oeuvre.

You just can't argue with a 17 year old...

I vaguely remember now. And I think there have been other times as well.

Funny how delays follow me wherever I go. I saw some figures in the paper the other day and BNE arrivals on time performance recently is ~69% and SYD is ~75%. My on time performance is still <50% with almost every flight having delays recently.

I was surprised to see the last JQ SYD-MCY go overhead around 1800.the wind was ferocious then.

Does MCY have an ILS? The wind & rain is gaining strength here at GC now.

I dont think so but i am no expert.Did try to google it and came up with this-

Seems JQ has been trying this out at MCY.Certainly the flight path from the south has been different the last couple of times I have been on JQ and corresponds to where we now see them from home.
In the past this weather would have meant diversion to BNE.

Let us think about why your average is less than the overall average. Hmm. Perhaps the flight times you take are more busier than other times along with evening flights more likely to be delayed due to flow on effects.

Nice follow up drron.. Explains the logic in apparent lesser diversions.
Thanks :)
