Dans is $20, while Feeneys Creme Brulee is $8.50 ;)
Fully aware Dans is on 'special' at $20 - point I was trying to make is Aldi std price $22.99 - so when Dans goes back to $30 next week Aldi still $22.99 - I think - as for Feeney's if they gave it to me I would hand it straight back - my opinion of course.

Just cause sumpin' is cheap don't make it any good.

No worries, Aldi is not much of a factor for us Queensland folk given alcohol is mail order only to SEQ.

"When will we see you again?"

Not quite the same as

"When will I see you again?"

Having tried it previously my firm advice is stick with Baileys. FWIW I think std price for 700ml Baileys in Aldi is $22.99.

Is it possible a very young lounge worker is flirting with me or just being nice?

Huge smile everytime she sees me and starts a conversation all the time. Probably just being nice to me but would she approach each regular visitor this way? Perhaps I am not as stuffy as some of the regulars. boomy what's your experience?

P.S great to have this type of relationship with lounge staff. Ask for 2 vodkas before flight and get 2 doubles.

Down boy! You nearly betrothed to another now!

There is no chance your in Perth

Virtually no difference Baileys and Feeneys... Although you can make your own Irish Creme Liquor if you google for the recipe.

Just doing the whole Eurovision thing and thinking I need to go to Poland more often ;)

I knew what you meant. ;)

When I was 17 working in a cafe, I would always make time for the regulars (and it was a retirement area so there was no regular under the age of 50 - unless it was the mothers group). I am sure some of the husbands thought I was flirting, but after a day of either a. no customers or b. customer not know what they want or whats on the menu and just being plain difficult it was always great to see a familiar face, know their order, and have a chat about whatever.
She might be hitting on you - it could happen - but it might just be nice to see a regular, its not an ordinary cafe so it might be harder to have those niceties and as the worker it just makes your day so much better to interact with patrons.

You know when you thought you understood everything?

Someone went and changed the script and now you look like a fool. :(

Thanks for the wonderful advice. I was sort of thinking out loud and getting ahead of myself.

The young lady is fantastic and you are probably right and I would never do anything to jeopardise that in any way. The staff in both lounges in both SYD and BNE have a great relationship with me. They have a huge smile when they see me. I always take the time to talk to them. Always. They offer me cheese platters at 9:00pm at night when regular business clients are told there aren't any cheese platters on offer at 6:00pm. As soon as they see me walking me to the bar they get the drinks ready for me but sometimes get it wrong as I switch from beer to vodka closer to flight time.

I would think one of the main reasons behind this treatment is I treat them like people first and not staff. But I could be wrong.
