Here's something I hadn't seen in a long time. Took me by surprise when it came off in my hand.

It did allow smooth, glug-free pouring though.

The Nigerian government found they had almost 24,000 phantom workers on their payroll. I thought that was interesting that fraudsters in Nigeria were able to scam their government payroll.

Came across this puzzle in Reader's Digest:

Each letter from A to I stands for one of the nine numbers listed in the table below.

No two letters have the same numerical value.

Match each letter to a number to make the following equations work.

Number list:

1 4 5
8 12 16
17 18 21

F = A + B

C = B + B

D = B + C

G = B + D

I = A + E

E = D + F

H = F + G

Na. Quite trivial (Readers Digest? Who reads that anymore if ever?)

Have had a nice bottle of red tonight.:) Better amusements, or sleep.

I think: 1=A: 4=B: 8=C: 12=D: 17=E : 15=F: 16=G: 21=H: 18=I.

But I would be happy for someone to double check my working.

I have a political joke, but it isn't appropriate for polite company...

5 = 1 + 4
F = A + B

8 = 4 + 4
C = B + B

12 = 4 + 8
D = B + C

16 = 4 + 12
G = B + D

18 = 1 + 17
I = A + E

17 = 12 + 5
E = D + F

21 = 5 +16
H = F + G

Still wrong...:)

I think not.
