Thanks hmc. Updated post #2 to include correct web page for AndrewCX's resource.

Also, deleted StevePER's Status Chaser Calculator as he has discontinued it.

Congratulations on your list, it is very impressive.
Do you or anyone else in the forum know the name of the Manager/Director of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program to whom I might write? We have encountered a glitch when trying to book a sector on the QFF award booking site which I have sought to resolve by phone without luck so I thought no harm in trying to contact someone directly. On QF site there is a list of management but no one seems to be in charge of the QFF program.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jo

Lindsay..this is incrediable..thanks so much I am sure we will all benefit from the information you have gathered together:lol:

I think he has; check Lindsay's posting rate lately. ;)

Amazing what having a new born around the house can do! :p

- although there was a minor flurry of late night L/W postings earlier this year due to those midnight feeds. :D

serfty and NM know me all too well...however they forgot the "getting our family company ready for a partial sale to a third party on 31 March and transfer of the remainder to our new company on same date, so we could open on 2 April" part. Still, not complaining from the earnings in the last 4 months.

Alas, I have been off AFF a lot, serfty is corect...this would be the 3rd time I've been online since early June. Things should return to some semblance of normality in September.

I do this out of wanting to share our collective knowledge...I never mind, as I am always learning from others.

I was sorry to have missed you (and others) at the Breakie Creek. Unfortunate clash with kid's school event. We will have to find another excuse for a meet soon.

Lindsay,
You are to be congratulated on producing such an extensive list. I found it easy to find exactly what area of interest I needed and went straight to it. Thank you for your good work.

AndrewCX's Frequent Flyer Resources (main link to RewardsDB, AirfareDB, BestPriceDB - list of retailers linked to CC & FF programs)

Hi - FYI the link posted here is slightly out of date. The link to RewardsDB should be RewardsDB.com - Find the best rewards when you shop online. . RewardsDB has been expanded with more AU & NZ rewards programs (as well as US, UK, Canada, Ireland) - please let me know (via the contact form on RewardsDB) if there are any other programs I am missing and I'll add them to the list of to-do's.

Thanks again,

Andrew

Thanks Andrew. I am not sure how busy Lindsay is at the moment, so I have made the edit to the OP for him.

Thanks NM for making the change and AndrewCX for the update. I am around more now, but I have a lot of catching up to do.

Thanks for your time here Lindsay, really useful references.

QUESTION: on my boarding pass last time I noticed in the service information the following letters 'CIP' - Does anyone know what this means and if there are any particular benefits?

cheers Spruce.

Hi Sprucegoose :)

I got very excited when I noticed this on MY boarding pass when I was travelling for work - it stands for Commercially Important Passenger, much like VIP, so I kindof left it hanging out whenever possible to see if I was treated any differently, but seeing I was flying CBR/SYD, and most others were also CIP there was not much point.

I'm guessing that you were travelling for work, and that the booking was made through your company/organisation - or that you've actually travelled so much that your spending habits are sufficient to have you flagged as an Important Customer :)

I still have to find out what the (random?) benefits might be!

H

This has been discussed previously and I don't think anyone here had a definitive answer.

Does anyone know the email address for QFF service centre?

The easiest way would be to provide feedback from the QF website.

I believe it's frequent_flyer @qantas.com.au (no space of course), but they really prefer you to use the online "e-mail" feedback form so things are routed properly.
