The Velocity Status Run Master thread

Speaking of site weirdness: just saw a Business Reward flight that was going for 0 points plus $25.53... (Didn't book it.)

Edit: oh, I get it, it's one of Virgin's one-off "special" flights. Still...

Love the name, Calroth - and loved the flight too!

It had a sister a few days later, so I booked it return myself for a few days away. (No points, $51.)

Sadly, a solo flight - the timing doesn't work well for SO.

Ah good, someone found it. I'm not entirely sure that they'll honour it as it looks like a mistake. But more power to you if they do.

If you have access, could you please add to the spreadsheet. (I don't.) Then you guys can start talking about it in code, and my conscience can be clear :)

I frantically refreshed the sheet to see if someone had done just that after the first post, I'll keep my eyes peeled..

Love the spreadsheet.

Considering they still haven't fixed this, I'm starting to get concerned about my own good value purchase.
At what point do you think it's reasonable for them to cancel it? It's been weeks now, I'd like to make (non-refundable) bookings to hotels/return flight etc.

This isn't like advertising something for the wrong price in a shop. It is clearly an error, in which case they could easily justify cancelling all of them. I think those who have been told they would be honoured are very lucky.

Those that are interested in calroth's ripper find, check out sheet B, entries 10 & 11 (hope I've entered it right..)

I haven't booked any connecting flights yet, and won't until just before, but worst case scenario they cancel and refund.

FWIW, I'm 1F.

Hi, I'm a noob to this forum but WOW I wish I'd found this earlier! I'm wondering how to access this spreadsheet that everyone keeps referring too? Also, any clues on what route the business flights were for no points (virgin's mistake)?

Can't book Tried several times... Cannot Process Booking
Our system has experienced a technical difficulty.

Even tried both Amex and Visa. Sold out now so can't try from scratch again. Evidently the new system still doesn't hold reservations whilst your filling out all the details, which I think is pretty rude. I assume the failure was due to the seats being sold as I was selecting seating and other details, given others were successful.
