I am on the phone now and they don't really know why the business rewards option as been pulled from what seems to be most routes. I was calling to book OOL to PER after finalising my travel plans. Wednesday all 16 flights were available every day of April, today there is not a single business reward for any flight a month either side of my dates. Pretty nice to offer a SC promo and then make sure no one can book them !

Managed to find J reward from BNE to CNS and return however couldn't find anything after the last weekend in March!!! Have to be better organised next time Oh well, least will have a nice weekend visiting friend and earning SC...

VA are punishing AFFers for starting a "private" SC run spreadsheet that they can't access.

(Don't flame me please.......it's a joke! Well, partial joke )

The way I see it is that AFFers now need to calm this thread.

The foundations are there, let the construction be slow, progressive and QUIET.

the ones i put in where avail in may at least this morning - please dont put in here either airport (source/destination) for the runs - i recommend that we number the runs or something so people can refer to them by number rather than referring to them directly here. The reason they are in a spreadsheet is so that they are NOT referred to in here.

Maybe number the tabs A, B, C, D etc and the runs with numbers so they can be uniquely identified

I also would like to thank those who have set this up. Its a shame that it has come to this, and Virgin are using this site to screw over some of their high Status pax. Bit of a dog act really, I also would like to agree with Swanning_it that we really need to keep this under covers, shame, but thats the way the new dog wants to play.
Not currently using VA for business, as we need confirmed bookings not their cough, but considering slipping a few weekenders in with VA, just to renew Platinum, in the hope they get their cough together, and I can perhaps return to them (Provided QF dont win me over, which their are doing ATM, and a Platinum SM will do it Hint Hint LOL

I have just 'lettered' the tabs and numbered the items within. I suggest if you add an item into the middle of a list it gets a new number so it doesn't change the reference of the ones after it.

tbh, I wouldnt be surprised if the revenue gods at Bowen Hills appointed a specialist to browse AFF all day to get ideas on enhancements.

I think VA have enough issues to sort out before they would bother worring about 100 or so AFF gang doing SC runs ! considering how they were giving out status so easy in the past ... they are most likely happy that we are filling seats !!

Coincidence that EVERY SC runs that was posted here was closed very quickly and/or prices blown out to pathetic levels
If they were fair dinkum about fixing their website and other issues they would be doing something about it. Does not appear to be the case does it

Well if this is some sort of punishment I think everyone has got the point. I am pretty miffed this is affecting trying to book legitimate business travel. Good move to punish your most frequent travellers. I wish they would take as much notice of the thread on slipping services levels. I wonder if they would get the message if 100 or so of their most frequent travelling status members all booked with another airline for a month

Agreed. having read lots of posts am getting a clearer picture of why people are sceptical of new people (such as myself) being spies! certainly doesnt make sense to penalise those that are the most frequent flyers. this forum should be able to freely share information without fear of beneficial flights etc suddenly disappearing. if their systems enable loop holes, shouldnt it be up to their systems people to identify and fix them, not users of this forum? Or at least be responsive to all comments made on the forum.....

Loopholes? Whatever do you mean?

The concept of runs is not new and they're not (usually) loopholes.

I see genuine rewards for genuine loyalty! Not a loophole in sight.
