If you do see me checkin to transit airport then that probably be a good sign, any other signs or pictures of interrogation rooms then you guys know what to do, maybe a AFF special on border security. Keep in mind ill be there for a day... Unlike the turnarounds who look more sus.

For those that booked on the old B11 (when it first came around, now in the archives) and was 'withdrawn', were you contact by VAA or rerouted?

We're ping pong balls getting rebooked, then re-routed, then re-re-routed... Fortunately it's a connecting flight now (more SC's).

Oh good. I'm using it as the return journey in place of a regular trip that normally takes me a little bit north on arrival so dont want to be left without a journey home.

Are you travelling on the same day as B11 is scheduled?

Same day, similar boarding time I believe, significantly different arrival time due to connections.

Either you're different to me or misreading. Departure about 3 hours earlier, arrival about 20 min earlier (IIRC).

No contact at all from the masters. Just noticed it on "my bookings" but hey, who am I to argue a connection!

You should have seen me trying to explain to the very lovely immigration lady at BGI that I was turning back around and going back to MIA on the plane I had just arrived on. One of the lines in the conversation was her almost crying and saying "but why wouldn't you want to come and stay in our beautiful island!?!?". She thought I was crazy and stamped my passport

Fished out the original itinerary, and you're right. (The old flight times were replaced with "FLOWN". I didn't realise this flight was originally so late.)

Would have been screwed if I put the original flight time in the calendar, and just rocked up at the airport with no notification or anything from VA.

Edit: Actually, this is the second time they've re-routed me like this... Last time they let me know at T-48 via a "Flight Reminder" email.

No, you gotta pick the right day(s) and right months. There's some notes in the spread sheet, and perhaps a few of us have been booking it on the dates that were available.

The issue was I had to log into my account, the second time! I have been able to bring up flights without having to do that second login but not for this one.

Kudos to the discoverer. As it is one way, how interesting can I make the return?

As a new VA'er SC hunter, do people have any pointers for how they track these sorts of fares down?

Im a VA platinum and am less likely to re qualify easily this year due to home changes so keen to maximise what I can.
