I remember going to Hinjewadi for meetings when I was working in India ... If you find sometime in your schedule when in Pune, visit "Kayani Bakery" and ask for "Shruberry biscuits" ... They simply taste amazing, folks back in Chennai loved those biscuits ... anytime I visited Pune for work, I make sure that I buy a small carry-on bag full of those biscuits - I was once jokingly asked at security screening and asked why I had so many biscuits in my carry-on and if I flew to Pune just to buy thoseAlmost! Balewadi.

also, ask for the shop "chitale-banthu" and buy "bhakarvadi". They are little spicy/savory scrolls, tastes amazing.
