The view from my "office"

Passing Canberra airport, saw this, guess it’s related to the Sydney incident.

At least the SMH seems to have got it right.

Camped out overnight in the Qantas AKL First Class Lounge cupboard office on Friday night. We were on the tarmac when it and the airport flooded at around 7pm. We hung out on the plane until about 2am - thankfully in J. The wine and champagne flowed - crew were excellent. We deplaned at around 2am.

The lounge staff were also top notch, keeping us fed and watered - it was a bit of an all night party. NZ Customs booted us all out and completely cleared the airside of the airport on Saturday morning. Flew out of AKL eventually on Sunday morning.

@love_the_life looks good, not a cruiser but interested in what that cabin is?
This is the lowest grade Queens Grill - Q6. I was a cheapskate! Grills category are the suites - Princess Grill and Queens Grill each with some levels within the category. Both have their own restaurant, a shared lounge and outside terrace area not available to other passengers.
