Well this wasn’t a good start at 5:15am trying to get into my BNE office on Monday:



Time to leave my day office ADL:



and ensconce myself in another temporary office for the views:

The photos were taken from the 3 year old elevated Carrum railway platform.

Longbeach RSL, nee Chelsea was where I had been; (I was a member of Edithvale Aspendale until it merged with Chelsea to become "Longbeach".)

The Carrum RSL closed in the 90s. The Seaford RSL is thriving (but not where I was this evening).

Had the pleasure of conversation with an amazing seat mate. We are both from similar line of work and it was fun just talking all the way down to MEL.

PB was enforced well. Looks like there are some staff-in-training today. Rocked up to the Priority queue. Agent scanning BP (I’m assuming in training) had to be advised/instructed/shown by a senior staff on how to pause boarding General queue and to board Priority queue pax, as the pax arrived.

Ha ha It’s part of the ADB training module, I’m told. I’ve seen some QF staff getting trained at the boarding gates at CBR. How training translates to implementation is unclear …
