The view from my "office"

Sadly not my current office but am loving the $45 security camera I installed over the weekend allowing me to remotely check in my preferred view.

I installed it because to the right view there's a new McMansion being built. There was another house there when we purchased two years ago so our view will be the same as when we bought. To the left of that is Council land and easement to allow foreshore houses access to the front of the place and also for cars with boats to do a U turn. Its the reason why we get the fab view. And I don't trust the heavy vehicles involved in building the place, making this turn and not hitting our place. It's backed up to the cloud. Can also get alerts if someone is hanging around and sound a siren, turn on a light, or speak to them. However we are really good friends with locals who keep a close eye on the place, and they aren't so keen on the McMansion people.

That looks like a pretty good camera for just $45

Gosh, I haven't seen those in years and had forgotten they existed! I genuinely thought there were cherry tomatoes, but it didn't make sense being next to licorice 😅
You've been out of the country way too long. ;) I knew they were jaffas straight away and brought back memories of them at the movies.
