The view from my "office"

V&D, a large chain of department stores, was also famous for its waffles with cream, but in 2015 it went the way of the dodo.
Thanks for letting me know. I won't have that on my travel plan then. "Arrive AMS and head for V&D for appropriate seasonal clothing".
I know a medical tech who, whenever in NL would make a B-line for V&D to purchase affordable off the rack suits for his 6'7" frame.

Well here is the BOM forecast track for Jasper.

Now all the nrews organisations are running stories today about it being expected to strengthen as it turns towards QLD.
Now look at the BOM tracker. In 3 days time it will drop from category 4 to category 2 and the very destructive winds disappear.
But who doesn't like a disaster.

On a RJX train Salzburg to Munich. A day late due to a strike but at least we are somewhat back on schedule. Edit: The German police were onboard doing selective papers checks.

RJX - Rail Jet Express are operated by Austrian Railways. Quite a bit of difference between them and DB. Our train today was only about two minutes late over a 95 minute trip. They have an on-time record of around 97% compared to DBs' current 52%

The legroom in 2 n/d class. And no stupid footrest to get in the way.

I don't think that weather on the Sunshine Cost is nicer of the costal Perth, where U have dryer air and also daily afternoon refreshing breeze.

My personal experience is that around Brisbane only winter dry weather is nicer than in Perth, where every couple of days are frequent showers. See what is forecast for costal area from Fremantle to Scarborough (shown for Claremont). ☀️😊

So how weather from Cairns to Gold Coast could be nicer of that in Perth?
...damp, humid, rainy and even awaiting cyclone 🌀🌀😲🙄🤭

And see forecast for the costal Perth.

Sunny and breezy here today as well. Going for a top of 29C. Don’t know how much different that is from Perth. About 2000Km between us and Jasper.
