No. I don't think even you would like this. Plus because of high electricity costs, many cafes aren't using the heating. It's still only 0 amd feels like -6. And treacherous walking in some places over canals because of Ice. We skated at one stage till we both realised wat was happening.

About the Orkney Islands

Thanks to the Gulf Stream, there is less than 10 deg C difference between the average summer and winter temperatures. We experience milder winters (average temp 5/6 degrees C) but lower summer temperatures (average 15 degree C with a maximum of around 19 deg C).

V&D, a large chain of department stores, was also famous for its waffles with cream, but in 2015 it went the way of the dodo.
