These looks like normal poppies grown for poppyseeds.

When I was young I see similar in Europe.
However, later from late 1970 a lot of them didn't mature because enthusiastic addicts harvested them at immature "milky" or green state.

hi, see drron has already stepped in, but yes, Tasmanian opium crop was first impacted by the wicked Victorians stepping in, and then I think during Covid, the demand for opioids decreased.
