The view from my "office"

Fascinating, to me anyway, bow design. A straight bow with bulges on the sides rather than a bulbous nose or a deeply flared curved bow. Looks to be an X-Bow design with a variation.

Yes, seeing a lot more of them since Celebrity Edge class and some smaller exped ships.

I believe it’s to do with efficient speed/power ratios?

Also claimed to produce a 'better' ride quality but apparently harder to build correctly.

Assorted views from the Zurich office, starting with a makeshift helipad beside Lake Zurich.

The Aussie bar and grill at the Zurich City Festival wasn't doing much business.

A few stalls further along - mega coughtails.

Many of the Zurich train stations have herb gardens on the platform, allowing passengers to pick fresh herbs on their way home.

While Uetliberg lookout is popular for views of Zurich (see here), Pfannenstiel Tower offers great views to the South of Zurich and on to the Alps.

It's about 15km South East of the CBD.

A 30 minute bushwalk through forest bring you to the peak at and elevation of 859m.

From there you can climb the observation tower (free) which was built in 1983.

Plenty of clocks in a city known for its timepieces.

Ulstein have been leaders in hull design, initially for offshore oil support vessels since the 1970's. The vertical or reverse angled bow improves hull speed and efficiency by extending waterline length.

Many smaller expedition ships are converted offshore vessels.

I know I posted earlier but further update of my roses. I'm not a gardener. In fact know very little. Did quite a bit of pruning and tried to tidy up as not back for 5 months.

Also didn't realise had so many two and three tone roses. Cam never get sick of looking at roses.
