They have the system of red and green lights to check reserved seats. If a person is expected to board soon the red light turns yellow.

April 12 - continuing rest of the day onto Castle Howard (1/2)

A great home to visit as they were designed by John Vanbrugh (not completed in his lifetime) and Nicholas Hawksmoor (garden monuments) The dome was the key attraction. It was rebuilt after being burnt down in 1940 to the original dimension as old photographs as faithfuly as possible. The gardens and the surrounding folleys took advantage of the beautiful rolling vistas of North Yorkshire to great effect.

These guys live in the hollowed out base of a gum tree.



And a stingray by the rock wall at high tide.
