Melbourne turned on a magical autumn afternoon, tiptoed out to the "back" office.

Two black swans heading to Phillip Island, others boarded the Westernport ferry from Stony Point to French and Phillip Islands - seniors go free on weekends and public holidays

All of this is only 25 minutes from the home office - Point Leo beach.

I just remembered I promised someone (I think @MARTINE) that I would post photos of my CitizenM hotel in Paris. This is the second one I've stayed at - the other one was in Geneva and I think they are perfectly adequate for one - not sure how cosy it would be for two people

They had a bar on the 16th floor (not as spectacular as the one on the top of the CitizenM Bowery NYC - that is amazing because you are outside) and good views.

Everything is a bit funky - self check in and out but there are people there to help. Most ordering via QR code and you use the ipad to control your room etc

We looked at CitizenM in Amsterdam @ Schipol but chose to visit Haarlem for our 24 hour layover last September.
Rooms did look adequate but chose Haarlem for location.
