Beautiful evening for a walk. Hubby headed to Sydney tonight, so he drops me off at the end of the valley, 1 hour walk back home to the beat of the Black Eyed Peas. Life is good.

Today we are on our way to Memphis, Tennessee from New York's La Guardia Airport.
As you can see the weather is spectacular today.


Apparently the plane in the background with the black roof that you may be able to make out from the first photo is Donald Trump's jet I've been told.

My view from my hotel room (Level 17 of Adelaide Hilton) as I contend with insomnia due to my bursitis - sitting here writing up my notes from meetings yesterday with a steaming cup of Earl Gray...thinking of my brother flying over the Bay of Bengal on his way to AUH and his indefinite adventures in Europe.

I did indeed put my shirt back on - as soon as I had reached my favorite seat in TPR shirt and shoes replaced - I then went back out and apologized to all Lounge Staff I had passed on way in - I did try to explain reason I did enter in such an undressed manner but all just seemed to give me that 'What a fruit cake' look - I get that a lot you know.

A somewhat idyllic view from the Cottesloe beach groyne, at the half way point of my run this morning. A bit hard to see, but the lady paddler has a little tacker sitting at her feet. Rottnest slightly visible in the right rear behind the RORO ship.

I had one of those dreaded dashes back to family and ended up going via Wellington which I haven't done in 13 years.

We crossed the coast at Karamea, had a stunning view over Farewell Spit, tracked over Nelson and the Marlborough Sounds - areas I have many a childhood memory of from holidays. Weather was so clear that other side of the plane had views down to Kaikoura.
