The view from my "office"

The first two were views from my father's office 23.8.1918. The last is the Australian War Memorial at Villers-Brettonneux. Fortunately he survived it. Many didn't. Lest we forget.

Fantastic photo coco50 - very moving visiting that area - I went with an English friend who speaks fluent French and when she told people I was Australian the French were just wonderful - enjoy

re: The view from my "office"

Bit of a strange one on my redeye flight a few days ago. Was greeted with this message on the chair control panel. After notifying the FA, she said she had never seen it before, and just pressed "I'm feeling lucky"! I was offered another seat, but I declined, and thankfully the chair did not become possessed whilst I was napping.

Inconsistent UIDs! Should be worth at least 10,000 points in compo, I reckon.

And what happens if you are not 'lucky'? Do you get ejected from your seat at high speed and head lodged in the ceiling or something?

Watch out drron, a bit of a rival sunset here.

Maybe it's global warming, maybe it's co-incidence, or maybe I am just getting more in touch with nature, but this year has produced some utterly amazing sunsets here in the West.

(and those aren't drastically filtered - just a touch of contrast to make them look more how the naked eye saw them - those are 4 different days; we have a hawk that seem to like that neighbours' TV antenna as a lookout :) )

Just thank your lucky stars it wasn't an inconsistant IUD! That may add another whole dimension to the mile high club!
