The view from my "office"

My husband lost his National Park pass today so I gave him mine and I'm sitting in the car... This is my view.

We've only got one more day here and don't need a pass for tomorrows sites.

Rays aplenty (would come and wrap themselves around you! ... a photo of that wasn't really possible under the circumstances  )

Home tonight. Wandered to the Night Noodle Market for a wine and snack then a champers and after hours viewing of the Versailles exhibition at the NGA then checked out the NLA building, Questacon and the NGA illuminations before heading home. Gorgeous weather.
1. National Library ,2. Questacon, 3 & 4. National Gallery (Versailles illuminations)

Sorry about the quality - just the phone tonight :)

Waiting for our ride to Santiago (this just landed) ... As a departure gate, I'm happy. Fresh air and sunlight. Lost my husband, he's off buying a Tshirt.

Top photo. I like airports that actually leave them resembling the real world, rather than a concrete and bitumen wasteland!

We are just back from a week in KL. Rather than a photo of the Twin Towers from our room - which I took - here are some of Pulau Ketam (Crab Island). This island is just off Port Klang. To get there requires a 70 minute trip on the KL commuter line to Port Klang and then a 35 minute "fast-ish" ferry trip through mangrove islands. The township is an ethnic Chinese fishing village completely built on stilts over the mud and water - with no solid land. There are no roads just timber walkways - with the main ones concreted over. This is our second trip there and the big change in 7 years is that electric scooters are now everywhere.
