Been absent from this thread for a week or so.
Literally the view from my office car park over the past couple of weeks has been the nesting plovers. Last year they had 2 chicks, but sadly this year it looks like whilst 3 eggs were laid, only one hatched.
At least this couple are wary of humans and lots of calling to each other - whereas at my kids school there were 6 chicks yesterday afternoon and the adults birds were dive bombing us parents on the oval picking up our kids from after school PCYC.
