Looking at a map it seems like Bate Bay is part of what I know as Sth Cronulla/Elouera/Wanda?-the people we visit in Caringbah aren't really beach people & I haven't heard them mention Bate Bay

The Port Hacking opens into Bate Bay at one end, and a bombora can often be found at the other. Lots of interesting spots in between.

Yesterday we visited Plitvice Lakes, Croatia. We saw hundreds of waterfalls in the national park here. It was fairly busy (I would hate to come here in July or August!!) but well worth a visit. We spent about five hours wandering around having a look.
