Polling booth around the corner from home..... and yes our current MP was a stylist of sorts (ran a model agency before being elected 8 years ago)

And yes, that is a bus stop..... I didn't take long to get through as a resident, but the declaration (people voting outside their home electorate) vote line was long and slow.

Yep we had them come right over. Not as close as a few years ago when the windows rattled though. Your photos look like you are inner CBR as well. Just waiting for the fireworks now.

Correct. Was working from home. Ironically should have gone in to my actual current office as views of the lake and the Parliamentary Triangle are superb. Have watched a few fireworks and fly-bys from the comfort of a Canberra office in my time, though Canberra fireworks have never quite done it for me -- neither spectacular nor intimate.
