Don’t tell me it’s still the camping cutlery set.
The coffee cups are equally bad. Very difficult to drink out of, especially on an aircraft.

Some cutlery and crockery designs are very wanting. Fashion can follow function and not overwhelm it, but not in QF’s case it seems.

My Isle of Skye B&B host view from her office today, it's laundry day and doesn't take long in these winds. Note the extra rocks around the base of the line poles to keep it from blowing over.

Well the chooks on the QR flight DFW-DOH went quiet when we took off ( we were wondering if the pilot had deployed the gas), but they revved up amazingly when we landed in DOH, and when the engines shut down, it sounded like a fox had got amongst 'em.

QR take their fresh food on board seriously ;)

We were waiting for the CSM to appear, picking feathers off her uniform. Alas, no.

I don't think fashion has anything at all to do with it. It seems they simply picked the most awful cutlery so no one at all would want to steal it!

As long as she didn't appear brandishing the axe as well!

You could try the Feathers on Glynburn/Greenhill roads. They have a pretty good gin range.
Thanks - working in NZ for 6 weeks but might give them a call - although a friends son who works in a pub said he can't get any so it looks like I might have to wait until July for the next batch and keep going to the F lounges to keep up my habit
