The view from my "office"

Are you able to share anything about those mysterious documents and the reason for your perusal ?

Sure. I'm researching a particular colonial chap who emigrated from England in the early 19th century. He and his siblings were involved in some civil law suits before he left, and they rumbled on for several decades.

Those horrendous bundles of vellum documents are a period of civil suits (not just my guy; all the ones of similar time bundled together), including statements, evidence, recitals etc etc. These were times when lawyers got paid by the pound (of documentation );) I just find the names to identify the document of interest and photograph them for perusal when I get back home.

Fortunately most of the stuff I'm looking at aren't like that lot! Time in the UK National Archives for a researcher is like being a vampire with full access to the blood bank :) .

Another PERfect day in PERadise today, so my brother and I made this the office for a short time this morning.

The ‘Red Barron’ operates from Barrack St Jetty in late summer/autumn and at Townsville other times of the year. The aircraft is a converted c. 1964 Grumman radial engine-powered Ag-Cat they now call a Sea-Cat. They claim that it is the only two-passenger open coughpit biplane on floats in the world.

It was cool! Here are some views from the office. Pax sit side-by-side in the front; pilot behind.

:):):).

Saw you (or maybe someone else) in that aircraft fly by. Thought to myself that's unusual to see a plane with floats over Perth.

And now my office at the Pullman, Toulouse airport.
In the room ( and as long as the eyes don't light up at night, I'm ok with this :)).

This is in your hotel room? I would be putting a towel over that... unless my husband is with me, then I would be putting a flashlight behind it after he goes to sleep :)

If that fence at the bottom of frame was made to look like a scale rule, I'd say it was a photo of a missile lock head-up display ... possibly from the helmet belonging to that alien head on display in RooFlyers bedroom!

Either that, or it's a modern day Time Tunnel!
