Yep. I got to go because the friend of the friend who was to attend got sick at the last minute. Seats were middle of the second row. Gift horse really. He was excellent and was supported by Richard Smith a guitarist from Nashville. He spoke of losing his brother and sister this year and also the death of his long time promoter.

He’s only 63.
For old (though only in his 70s) I see that Sixto Rodriguez is doing another tour. We saw him a few years ago and his sight was deteriorating then and he was guided onto the stage etc. But, it was a great concert if people are interested. The film Searching for Sugarman was about him if that jogs memories.

Yes, he died very recently. Tommy said it was asthma which he had suffered from all his life.
