It hit -10 in Helsinki today and was so hot I had to take my scarf off for a few hours.

Xmas light at Suttons Beach apartment complex on The Esplanade. Every unit was festooned with lights and causing quite the spectacle for kids and adult alike.



My turn with the kids at Newmarket Pool - hours of pleasure for all. Definitely got our moneys worth.

I was thinking just the same thing. Amazing what a 38 deg day does! Great day in the beach, nevertheless ( Spring Beach, E. Tas)

And for @Rugby : water temp 19 degrees!

Doubt you'll see any snow here, too - but alas it will be good to catch up again after so long

It really is luck of the drawer, my first Christmas in Europe after moving here I was in Germany, inches and inches of snow. This year, not a snow flake in sight!
