Oh, I totally missed anything. I just look at the pictures

Kind of like Playboy magazines but for nice places.

So, how does one delineate between just showing pictures of fabulous places and being excited and posting about what you are seeing versus a peeing contest?

I never suggested that it wasn't friendly, more that it was competitive (IE a bit of a contest)!

I get the feeling that some on here felt there was malice in my original post, which was perhaps the result of not appending a suitable emoji. I was just thinking that the back and forth with photos perhaps fitted this definition:
Pixxing contest (nounVULGAR SLANG)
"a contest or rivalry in which the main concern of the parties involved is the conspicuous demonstration of superiority." Of course I could be PERfectly wrong, or just have posted in bad TASte.
