The view from my "office"

Did the colourful upholstery make you feel any safer?

The colour didn't matter much when we angel geared it downhill 😱

Fabulous walnut forest.600,000 acres, 150kg of walnuts per tree. The meadows in the forests are used for grazing.

A few minutes later the clouds were coming down

I would not be able to get within 10 metres of the edge

The waterfall a bit further up the fjord

Circular Walk from Jevington through Friston to Birling Gap and over the Seven Sisters before stopping at a quirky pub in Holywell before looping back to the quaint village of Jevington. 14.5 miles covered and I can tell whoever wrote the trail guide lied when they said no nettles! My legs are still tingly... 🤣

This morning's office is the (swiftly) moving van we are using at the moment, so pics not the best quality and many good ones missed.

It's the first day of the school year here, we think, and the primary school kids are dressed to the nines in rural Kyrgyzstan.

Girls in very pretty dresses, often with bows or flourishes in their hair, boys in white shirt, vests and sometimes ties. Many mommas hanging outside the front door as they watch the kids disappear from their sight. 😊

And this little terror was the youngest son of the homestay couplewhere we stayed at. One he discovered the chips, we were friends for life!! ( We rationed them, lest we incurred momma's displeasure.). So funny, he kept making 'shhhhh' signs. 😉
