What's that specific office type called?

Superior Water Villa 338.

We were supposed to be in a Deluxe Water Villa, however there was a mistake made by reservations.

The resort has been reasonable with compensation as there are no higher category rooms available.

A lot of rooms are being renovated at the moment. All of the Retreat Water Villas/Family Water Villas are closed and all of the Deluxe Beach Villas on the Sunrise side are out of actions as well.

The Deluxe Beach Villas are still our favourite room, though they no longer have the massive bath in the pavilion out the back.

That's unfortunate. What is in the place of the big bath? Any ETA on the the sunrise side ones being available again?

Today we drove from Stavanger to Kristiansand. There was a big detour because of construction work inside a tunnel. The detour actually incurred inside the tunnel. and added a lot of KM's and time to the trip. However it did mean we got to see this valley which we would have otherwise missed.

Near Kvinsdal - which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

The bridge in the distance is only accessible via the tunnel; which was partly closed. So we had to do a big dogleg which added at least 30 minutes to the trip.

Spent a night Ina very remote village in Kyrgyzstan mountains, no wifi, in a homestay.

Fabulous experience. Welcoming locals, cute kids ( still dressed very finely for school) good meals. The community has banded together to make facilities acceptable to westerners, without losing the local identity.

Kyzyl-oi office: ( The homestay places were new, solid buildings with western facilities. Very comfortable).
